Great Chinese Muslim Cuisine

I was excited when E-One Chinese Muslim Restaurant opened their doors in 2018 because it’s difficult to find halal eateries in my neighbourhood of Subang Jaya.

These Chicken Dumplings are YUMMY!

Fortunately, a friend who had lived in Xinjiang, China before confirmed that the food here tastes as good as the original cuisine back in Xinjiang – the centre of Chinese Muslim population in China.

Wholesome Handmade Long Noodles (MEE TARIK) with Beef will surely win your heart

In the beginning, the Xinjiang owner & chef must have struggled to attract new customers and at the same time, find reliable workers during and post Covid times. I was worried that E-One Restaurant would close its doors due to the slow economy.

I’m happy the Owner decided to persevere, and today, I can see their business has picked up considerably, and they managed to find some hardworking staff to serve the hungry customers. It does look like I will able to continue patronising my favourite Chinese Muslim restaurant for now, and hopefully for many years to come.

Beef Pepper Rice is the my favourite

There are many delicious dishes on the menu, but I can’t get pass their Beef Pepper Rice (RM13) which is such a tasty mix of tender beef, fresh green peppers, red chilli and onions. Every ingredient compliment each other so well, it just melts in my mouth and easy to digest.

I have eaten at some popular Chinese Muslim restaurants in Kuala Lumpur, but they just can’t beat the scrumptious taste and home-cooking of E-One. Don’t expect any fancy furnishings, but the interior is clean, simple and functional.

Spicy beef tastes nice but I’m not sure if it’s a main or side dish.

The lady owner only speaks Mandarin, so I just point to the menu to order, and I use some hand gestures when necessary. Luckily, the staff there now can communicate better.

In conclusion, if you ever find yourself in SS15, Subang Jaya, and you want to try wholesome Chinese Muslim Food which is affordable, then I recommend you check-out E-ONE Chinese Muslim Restaurant (next to KK Mart).
