Running or racing up stairs requires incredible stamina and fitness. In fact, there is a specific way to train for tower runs in order to develop your skills and strength.

Recently, I interviewed Asia’s No.1 Tower Runner, Soh Wai Ching, who shared some useful insights about his favourite event of Tower Running.

3 Top Tips

  1. Start training program with low intensity.
  2. As you get fitter, increase the number of stairs and sets in your training workout.
  3. As your training progresses, you can try to improve your timing by running up two stairs at a time, as well as pull yourself up with the stairway banners.
