Finally, my dream of entering the training centre of our Malaysian Gerak Khas Commando at the Sungai Udang Camp in Malacca have been answered. Furthermore, this is a WET dream because only a limited number of the public will be able to try-out the same obstacle course that our FEARLESS elite commandos (there are approximately 3,500 Commandos) use for training and made famous by the History Channel documentary ( see video ) which highlighted the 13 weeks of hellish test that volunteer recruits have to pass before they can earn the highly respected GREEN BERET.
Yes, I am a huge fan of our 21st Special Forces Group because they are real life heroes for being the first to lay their lives on the line to protect our KING & COUNTRY. They are also highly revered internationally for their ability to survive in the world’s toughest rainforests.
On top of everything else, I am also an avid fan of Obstacle Course Racing, and to be able to race along the only GENUINE Commando Obstacle Course is honestly What I Live For!
I know this is extremely short notice, but I have dropped all my other plans this Saturday because such a RARE opportunity of playing Commandos with real life Commandos might not happen again, unless, of course, I really submit an application to join the Army…..
