Editor’s Note

TIME FLIES: It’s only been 5 months since we ran and happily painted Kuala Lumpur with the official colours blue, green and white of Standard Chartered Kuala Lumpur Marathon. Now, the registration process of SCKLM 2⃣0⃣1⃣7⃣ has already started to fill-up the 35,000 slots for the Big Race scheduled for 21st May 2017.

THE BEST COVERAGE: To get you in the mood for SCKLM 2017, I have listed herewith my favourite blog postings on SCKLM 2016 which is a useful predictor on what you can expect next. Dang! I hadn’t realised that I had written so much about SCKLM 2016 until now!? But then again, there was so much of interesting stuff to write about. Hopefully, SCKLM 2⃣0⃣1⃣7⃣ will prove to be equally fulfilling for the Runners too.

TRAIN FOR IT: I always recommend to new runners and parents who want to encourage their kids to run that they ought to register for SCKLM, and make full use of their comprehensive and complimentary Running Clinics plus Junior Running Clinics. As for regular and seasoned runners, these systematic running clinics are a great addition to your usual training programme and race preparations because you can tap into the technical expertise of the Event Owner/Organiser DIRIGO EVENTS S/B. Running Clinic 2017 details are not available yet as of today.

COUNTDOWN CAPER: If you decide to register for SCKLM 2⃣0⃣1⃣7⃣, do get involved as much as you can with the preliminary pre-race countdown activities because they will ultimately contribute to making your RACE DAY more enjoyable and more memorable – trust me on this!
